About Warhorse Ministries
Warhorse Ministries is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded by Jason Pike, a former U.S. Navy SEAL, combat veteran, government contractor, and firearms instructor. The ministry is dedicated to helping individuals overcome life's struggles through faith in Christ, sharing testimonies of victory, and providing practical support to those in need.
The roots of Warhorse Ministries trace back to Jason's work with Frogman Tactical, his firearms and tactical training company. There, Jason began focusing on helping men reclaim strength and purpose in the physical realm, which naturally evolved into spiritual ministry—leading men to Christ and even performing baptisms during training sessions on the range.
Over a decade ago, Jason expanded his outreach internationally, beginning ministry efforts in Uganda around 2016 (with his first visit in 2018). In partnership with organizations like Surpassing Grace Ministries, Warhorse has provided food, medical care, education, housing, churches, and clean water wells for orphans, elders, and local communities. Key achievements include drilling four water wells serving thousands, purchasing 20 acres of land in 2022 for a self-sustaining orphan community, and developing farming initiatives. While international work continues—with goals to eventually extend into regions like Sudan—the ministry shifted greater focus to the United States in 2025, launching youth programs to equip teens with biblical principles for navigating modern challenges.
The organization operates as a traveling ministry impacting youth, men, and women worldwide.
We have recently created the THRIVE community where teens 13-17 can join and learn how to overcome life challenges they face in the world we live in today. Read more "HERE".
For adults, you can join us in the GIDEON PROJECT where like minded Christians can come and pray, worship, and support one another "HERE".
Statement of Faith
We affirm that the Holy Bible, consisting solely of the 66 books from Genesis to Revelation, is the verbally inspired, infallible, and inerrant Word of the living God in its original manuscripts. It is the complete and final revelation of God to mankind, the supreme and ultimate authority in all matters of faith, practice, doctrine, and truth. No other writings, traditions, revelations, or authorities hold any binding power over the believer. Scripture alone is sufficient for every good work, for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness. We reject any addition to, subtraction from, or elevation above the Bible (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:19-21; Psalm 19:7-11; Psalm 119:89, 160; Proverbs 30:5-6; Revelation 22:18-19; Deuteronomy 4:2; Isaiah 8:20).
I. The Scriptures
We believe the Holy Scriptures were given by plenary, verbal inspiration, meaning every word was breathed out by God through the Holy Spirit who superintended human authors so that they wrote exactly what God intended without error. The Bible is eternally preserved in its truth and is self-authenticating. Its unity, prophetic accuracy, historical reliability, and transformative power bear witness to its divine origin. We hold to the literal, grammatical-historical method of interpretation, recognizing figures of speech where intended, while affirming the plain meaning of the text in its context (Matthew 5:18; John 10:35; 17:17; Galatians 3:16; Hebrews 1:1-2).
II. The Triune God
We believe there is only one living and true God, eternally existing in three distinct yet inseparable Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—one God in essence, coequal in every divine attribute, coeternal, and worthy of the same worship and obedience (Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 45:5-6, 21-22; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14; 1 Corinthians 8:4-6).
- God the Father: We believe in God the Father, infinite, sovereign, omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent, immutable, holy, righteous, just, merciful, gracious, and loving. He ordains whatsoever comes to pass according to the counsel of His will, yet without being the author of sin (Exodus 3:14; Psalm 90:2; Ephesians 1:11; James 1:13, 17; 1 John 4:8).
- God the Son: We believe in the eternal deity and virgin birth of the Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, who became fully man without ceasing to be fully God. He lived a sinless life, performed miraculous signs, taught with divine authority, voluntarily offered Himself as a substitutionary sacrifice for sins on the cross, was buried, rose bodily on the third day, ascended into heaven, and now intercedes as High Priest for His people. He will return personally, visibly, and bodily in power and glory to judge the world and establish His kingdom (John 1:1-3, 14, 18; Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:23; Hebrews 4:15; 7:25; 1 Corinthians 15:3-8; Acts 1:9-11; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Revelation 19:11-16).
- God the Holy Spirit: We believe in the eternal deity and personality of the Holy Spirit, who convicts the world concerning sin, righteousness, and judgment; regenerates sinners; baptizes believers into the Body of Christ; permanently indwells, seals, guides, teaches, sanctifies, and empowers them for service and godly living (John 14:16-17, 26; 16:7-15; 1 Corinthians 12:13; Ephesians 1:13-14; 4:30; Romans 8:9-16; Galatians 5:16-25).
III. Creation, Providence, and Angels
We believe God created the heavens and the earth ex nihilo (out of nothing) in six literal days, as plainly stated in Genesis 1-2. All creation was originally pronounced "very good" and reflects God's glory. We believe in the direct creation of Adam and Eve as the historical first parents of the entire human race, created male and female in God's image. We affirm God's sovereign providence in upholding, directing, and governing all creatures and events to accomplish His perfect purposes without violating human responsibility or secondary causes (Genesis 1-2; Exodus 20:11; Psalm 33:6-9; Colossians 1:16-17; Hebrews 11:3; Ephesians 1:11).
We believe in the existence of angels as created spirit beings, including elect holy angels who serve God and minister to believers, and fallen angels, including Satan and demons, who oppose God and seek to deceive and destroy (Hebrews 1:14; Psalm 148:2-5; Job 38:6-7; Revelation 12:7-9; Ephesians 6:12; 2 Corinthians 11:14).
IV. The Fall, Sin, and Human Nature
We believe that Adam, as federal head of the human race, willfully sinned against God by disobeying His command, thereby plunging himself and all his posterity into spiritual and physical death. As a result, every human being is born with a sinful nature, totally depraved, inclined only toward evil, and under God's righteous condemnation apart from divine grace. Sin affects every aspect of human existence—mind, will, emotions, and body (Genesis 3; Romans 3:10-23; 5:12-19; Ephesians 2:1-3; Psalm 51:5; Jeremiah 17:9).
V. Salvation by Grace Alone Through Faith Alone in Christ Alone
We believe that salvation is entirely the work of God's sovereign grace, apart from any human merit, works, sacraments, or religious observance. The Lord Jesus Christ accomplished full redemption through His perfect obedience and sacrificial death, bearing the penalty of sin in the place of His people. God justifies sinners by imputing Christ's righteousness to them and imputing their sins to Christ, received by faith alone. True salvation evidences itself in repentance toward God, faith in Christ, regeneration, adoption, sanctification, and perseverance unto glory. All whom the Father chose before the foundation of the world will be effectually called, justified, and glorified (John 6:37-40; Romans 3:21-28; 5:1-2, 8-9; 8:28-39; Ephesians 1:3-14; 2:8-10; Philippians 1:6; Titus 3:4-7; 2 Timothy 1:9).
VI. The Christian Life and Sanctification
We believe every true believer is positionally holy in Christ and is progressively sanctified by the Holy Spirit through the Word, prayer, fellowship, and obedience, being conformed to the image of Christ. While remaining sinners until glorification, believers are called to pursue holiness, mortify sin, love God supremely, and love their neighbor as themselves. The moral law of God, summarized in the Ten Commandments, remains the abiding standard for Christian conduct (Romans 6:1-23; 8:29; 12:1-2; Galatians 5:16-25; Ephesians 4:22-24; Hebrews 12:14; 1 Peter 1:15-16; Exodus 20:1-17; Matthew 22:37-40).
VII. The Church
We believe the universal Church is the spiritual Body and Bride of Christ, composed of all regenerate persons from Pentecost onward. Local churches are visible expressions of the universal Church, consisting of baptized believers gathered for worship, preaching of the Word, prayer, fellowship, discipline, and observance of the two ordinances: believer's baptism by immersion (symbolizing death to sin and resurrection to new life) and the Lord's Supper (proclaiming Christ's death until He comes). Church leadership consists of elders (pastors/overseers) and deacons who meet biblical qualifications (Matthew 16:18; 28:18-20; Acts 2:41-47; 20:28; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26; 12:12-27; Ephesians 4:11-16; 5:25-27; 1 Timothy 3:1-13; Titus 1:5-9; Hebrews 10:24-25).
VIII. Last Things
We believe in the personal, visible, bodily, and premillennial return of the Lord Jesus Christ to rapture His Church, followed by the tribulation, His glorious second coming to earth to bind Satan, establish His millennial kingdom, and reign in righteousness. After the millennium, Satan will be released briefly, defeated finally, and cast into the lake of fire. The final judgment will occur, followed by the bodily resurrection of all people—the saved unto everlasting life and joy in the new heavens and new earth, and the unsaved unto everlasting conscious torment in hell. God will be all in all, and His glory will fill the eternal state (Daniel 12:2; Matthew 24-25; John 5:28-29; 1 Corinthians 15:20-58; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; 2 Thessalonians 1:5-10; Revelation 19-22).
This Statement of Faith represents the core biblical convictions that govern every aspect of our nonprofit organization. We stand unreservedly upon the Holy Scriptures alone as our only rule of faith and practice, to the glory of God alone. Soli Deo Gloria.
